Metro, tram and Marmaray

Every rail line with its real station order; first and last train times, active service announcements and a map of trains moving along the line.

Coverage

The entire rail system

Along with metro, tram, funicular and cable car lines, Marmaray is listed with its own line colours and real station order.

Line colours are taken from the official signage colours. Cable car lines (TF1, TF2) have no published signage colour, so a distinctive colour is used.

First train, last train

Departure times by direction for every station, with a first and last train summary at the top. The next departure is highlighted; if it's less than a minute away it says "Now".

Real line geometry

The line doesn't join stations with straight lines; the real route from OpenStreetMap is used and stations are placed in order along it.

Timetable-based train movement

Train positions on the map are calculated from the official timetable and refreshed every half second. This is an estimate, labelled on screen with a "timetable-based simulation" badge. No simulation is shown on funicular and cable car lines.

Service announcements

Active disruption and diversion announcements published by Metro İstanbul appear as warnings on the relevant line's screen and are marked with the line badge in the line list.

Marmaray

From Gebze to Halkalı, 43 stations

Marmaray shares the same experience as the metro lines: a full-day departure list, departure times by direction, the real route line and trains moving along it. In directions it's treated on equal terms with every other mode.
